Islamic Relief urgently seeks to hire committed and experienced persons for the following positions to implement its earthquake emergency response operation in West Sumatra:
01. Admin and HR officer (01 position)
Key roles/responsibilities:
• Responsible for socializing Islamic Relief policy and procures among the staff
• Assist in planning and management of staff recruitment process;
• Develop, regularly update and maintain a human resource database and management
information system;
• Official corresponding and communication with different Government, INGO and local
private organizations.
• Guest entertainment
• Hotel, ticket , pick up and drop schedule for the guest and IR staff
• Handle all kinds of lease agreement
• Assist in managing and/or redressing human resource related conflicts & grievances, if
any;
• Perform any other relevant tasks as assigned by the authority.
Experience, skill and qualification required:
• University degree in Public or Business Administration.
• Minimum 2 years experience in admin and HR related jobs
• Innovative problem-solving and demonstrated analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written knowledge in Bahasa Indonesia and English
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitivity and integrity
• Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
• Willingness to work under pressure
• Knowledge of Indonesian labor laws and regulations.
02. Hygiene Promotion Officer (01 position)
Key roles/responsibilities:
• Planning, implementation and monitoring of WATSAN software programme
• Develop guidelines on Hygiene promotion related activities and orient the field staff and community volunteer
• Assist field staff in forming WATSAN committee at village level.
• Use appropriate IEC materials to disseminate the hygiene related information
• Organize campaign activities on hygiene awareness
• Attend in different WATSAN related meeting at district and sub district level.
• Staff supervision and mentoring
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress report
Experience, skill and qualification required:
• Basic knowledge on development and humanitarian issues.
• Bachelor degree in public health or related subject.
• Minimum 02 years practical experience working with NGO in WATSAN sector.
• Ability to work with a team
• Good in English (Spoken and writing)
• Able to travel to the field frequently
• Capable to work under pressure
03. Project Officer (Disaster Risk Reduction)
Key roles/responsibilities:
• Implement Islamic Relief emergency response (relief items) operation in Padang Pariaman district
• Assess needs of the earthquake affected people and prepare the report
• Provide staff training on disaster management
• Planning, implementation and monitoring of DRR programme in Padang Pariaman and Agam districts.
• Capacity building of local Government structures and community people in disaster preparedness and mitigation
• Coordination and liaison with different stakeholders
• Supervise the field level staff
Experience, skill and qualification required:
• Sufficient knowledge and experience on DRR programme planning and implementation
• Minimum 02 years experience in DRR programme with INGO.
• Basic knowledge on development and humanitarian issues.
• Received TOT on DRR/Disaster management
• Bachelor degree from any reputed university
• Ability to work with a team
• Good in English (Spoken and writing)
• Able to operate program Microsoft office
• Able to frequent travel to the field
• Capable to work under pressure
